Guided Tour in English, 29. Oktober 2026
Did you just arrive in Austria? Are you spending a semester or two in Vienna and have you wondered what role National Socialism (Nazism) plays in Austria’s history and present?
In this free guided tour through the permanent exhibition of the Documentation Centre of Austrian Resistance, we will explore Austria's role during the years 1938 to 1945. By looking at victims, resistance fighters, by-standers and perpetrators, we analyse the particular nature of the Nazi ideology and discuss the dynamics of persecution in Vienna. Let’s find out together how todays Austria deals with its own Nazi past.
