information concerning the fates of approximately 62.000 Austrian victims of the Holocaust;
names, dates of birth, destination of deportation transports
and - as far as known - the places and dates of death can be found;
- a documentation
gives an overview of the Shoah of Austrian Jewry covering topics like 1938 (from "Anschluss" to November pogrom), Jews as victims of Nazi euthanasia, small transports to
concentration camps (1943-1945), flight, emigration and death;
approximately 900 photos, including about 350 Gestapo photos published for the first time;
introduction by Simon Wiesenthal; letters, accounts, documents, read by Fritz
Muliar, Elisabeth Orth and Otto Tausig; maps (Europe, Vienna).
