Card written March 29, 1942, by Hermine Kubie to her son Alfons.
Hermine Kubie, née Wengraf, was born on January 8, 1870, in St. Pölten, Lower Austria. Her son, Alfons, was born on September 19, 1901. He managed to escape to Switzerland. Her husband, Sigmund, was "Aryan." Hermine Kubie's last address in Vienna was Krummbaumgasse 6 in the second district, from where she was deported on March 5, 1941, on the fourth transport from Vienna to Modliborzyce. Her subsequent fate is unknown.
