Project: "Registration by Name: Austrian Victims of the Holocaust"

Please assist us in registering, by name and date of birth, as many Austrian victims of the Shoah as possible. We hope to account for all persons who were resident in Austria in 1938 (including those who did not possess Austrian citizenship at the time), and who, on the basis of the antisemitic legislation of the Nazi regime, were considered to be Jews or "Jewish half-breeds " and who perished between 1938 and 1945. In addition, it is hoped to register the names and dates of birth of those who survived persecution by the Nazis.
