Submit to Herbert-Steiner-Prize 2010
The Herbert-Steiner-Prize, named after Herbert Steiner, founder and first director of the Documentation Centre of Austrian Resistance (DÖW) and founder of ITH, will be awarded the seventh time in 2010.
The prize is awarded for outstanding works – non-published (non-printed) – in German or English on the research fields
- Resistance/Persecution/Exile in the time of fascism and Nazi-Rule as well as dealings with this past after 1945
and - Labour History.

The main target of the prize is to enable scholars to revise their manuscripts and to prepare their publication. An independent jury examines the works. The Herbert-Steiner-Prize and the Herbert-Steiner-Sponsorship-Prizes are endowed with 10,000 Euro total.

- A reviewable scholarly manuscript (also diploma or doctoral thesis). Please send two printed copies by post to Christine Schindler (Herbert-Steiner-Prize, c/o DÖW, Wipplingerstraße 6-8, A-1010 Wien).
- C.V. and - if applicable - list of publications.
- Abstract.
